Counting Cards as a Team

One player can only do so much when it comes to counting cards. That is why in most cases people count cards as a team. Even all the famous blackjack movies, people count cards as a team. This is because of it a lot easier to count cards as a team. Furthermore, that is the best way that one can use to counter all the casino measures that have been put in place.

However, card counting as a team does also have a few disadvantages to it, in that you will have to act like you do not know each other. Meaning to say all the communication between you and your team will have to be via signs. Furthermore, it has to be very discreet as we have mentioned that the casino will do all that it can to make sure that you do not get away with it.

Despite all this, people will still go through it, that is why we have ideas on what the team may look like.

The Ideal Card Counting Team

1. The Back Spotter

   This team member doesn’t have to be seated at any of the tables. All that they have to makes sure that the coast is clear for the rest of the team to move in. In essence, they will signal to the Gorilla when they can move to a table.

2. The Spotter

   The Spotter is the silent asassin. They will be playing at the table, making sure that they keep their bet at the minimum. However, as they play, they will also be counting cards. This is because casinos are constantly checking for irregularities at the table. Therefore, the spotter will signal to the Gorilla when the deck is hot.

3. The Gorilla

   The Gorilla doesn’t really have to a math wiz like the two mentioned above. meaninign that, they keep their card counting to a minimum. All they have to do is act like a drunken rich gambler. They will move from table to table making ridiculously large wagers. To the rest of the casino, this person will look reckless, yet in actual fact it through the signals of the Spotter and BackSpooter that this team member is placing their bets.

4. The Big Player

   The Big Player is the cover up for the rest of the team. This particular member of the team makes sure that the rest of the team is undetected. They will play at the same tables as the Gorilla. The difference is that they will be a high roller. This team member would have started placing high bets way before the Gorilla gets to the table. Such that by the time that the GOrilla gets there, the Big player has been playing for some time. The Big Player, by being a high roller will naturally attract the attention of the casino. By so doing allowing the rest of the team to go on undetected.
